I have a disappointing update today. I had a medical issue come up this morning and had to make the difficult decision to postpone my departure until I got that issue taken care of. Things are looking good now and I will rebook my flight either tomorrow or Monday, hopefully departing either Thursday (11/15) or Friday(11/16). Since I was so excited to get over there (and experience the holiday they are celebrating this weekend and Monday/Tuesday) it's certainly disappointing to still be here in the US, but I'm confident I made a wise decision and also strongly believe that things happen for a reason, so I'm just gonna roll with it! Wow, I bet a flight to India with that short of a notice HAS to be costly! Hope you have a great time...once you get to go!
ReplyDeleteNo, actually the change was minimal (less than $400 total, so my company actuall saved money when you think about the 5 days/nights I wasn't there incurring meal and lodging costs.... :-))
